(and scoping, too)

About Me

Retiring from education after teaching high school English for 16 years, I thought to use my skill in grammar, mechanics, and usage (from teaching students how to write) and apply it towards proofreading transcripts. As a graduate from Caitlin Pyle's online course, Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice (TPTP), I am prepared to meet your professional expectations of a scopist and proofreader with outstanding customer service. To ease your mind, I turn to the following references and resources as I proofread: Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, The Gregg Reference Manual, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells, Google, among others. When you send your first transcript, I'll find out about your individual style preferences.
